Austin Spas: Austin was recently written up in an issue of Essence magazine for having one of the best spas visited during a cross-country trip. The spa highlighted is Barton Creek Spa and Resort. There are, however, a great number of little spas that provide a welcomed escape without having to travel too far. If you don't have time to visit the spa, Austin has several quick stop shops to get a manicure, pedicure, and more. Listed on this page are a few examples, but it is by no means exhaustive.
