McCombs Admissions Committee Membership

MAC's vital role in the admissions process requires that membership be selective. Interested MBA students must apply and interview to become a member. Applications are accepted and interviews are conducted in September by the MAC Co-Chairs. Approximately 50 first-year students are selected each year, and 50 second-year MBAs rejoin the force to continue enhancing the Texas MBA.

While MAC is a two-year commitment, opportunities for involvement vary between the first and second year. This allows our students to gain a complete understanding of all aspects of the admission process. Members are expected to hold office hours in the MAC office throughout the fall and spring semesters. Members are also responsible for escorting prospective students who have chosen to participate in the class visit and lunch programs.
