How to Apply
We are no longer accepting applications for the Fall 2008. The Fall 2009 Suggested Deadlines and Online Application will be posted this summer. Thank you for your interest in the Texas MBA Program.
The Admissions Process at McCombs
McCombs employs a rolling admissions process - meaning all applications are generally reviewed in chronological order according to the date they were completed, and are not grouped into periods or "rounds."
Admission to the MBA Program at the McCombs School of Business is highly competitive. The Admissions Office reviews applications on an individual basis looking at both quantitative and qualitative aspects of an applicant's professional and academic background. The committee seeks to assess an individual's potential for leadership, academic success and future professional growth.

Deadlines
Deadlines are the Admissions Office's suggested application submission dates. Please note that these dates are not absolute deadlines.
It is to each applicant’s benefit to apply earlier rather than later, but we encourage applicants to submit the strongest application of which they are capable. A stronger application received later in the season is preferred over a weaker or incomplete one submitted early. We continue offering admission until we believe the incoming fall class to be full.
Applications Must Be Complete
We cannot begin to review an application until all parts have been received, processed and declared official by the Graduate and International Admissions office (GIAC). The minimum requirements for the admissions office to render a decision include submission of the online application, payment of the application fee, submission of transcripts and an official GMAT.
Throughout most of the admission cycle the applicant will also need to submit a resume, essays, and two (2) letters of recommendation in order to be competitive with other applicants. We will review applications in which all documents are submitted prior to reviewing those applications in which one or more pieces were not included.
In addition, international students will need to submit an official TOEFL score from ETS. If admitted, the certificate of Financial Responsibility form must be submitted to the International office; this can also be submitted at the time of application to simplify the process.
