Admissions Deadlines
Deadlines are the Admissions Office's suggested
application submission dates. Please note that these dates are
not absolute deadlines. McCombs employs a rolling admissions
process--meaning all applications are generally reviewed in chronological
order according to the date they were completed, and are not grouped
into periods or "rounds."
It is to each applicant’s benefit to apply earlier rather than
later, but we encourage applicants to submit the strongest
application of which they are capable. A stronger application
received later in the season is preferred over a weaker or
incomplete one submitted early. We continue offering admission until
we believe the incoming fall class to be full.
Fall 2007 Suggested Submission Dates
-
November 1, 2006 Suggested early submission for all applicants.
-
February 2, 2007 Final date for all international applicants.
-
April 1, 2007 Final date for all domestic applicants.
Completed Application Information
We cannot begin to review an application until
all parts have been received, processed, and declared official by
the Graduate and International Admissions office (GIAC). The
absolute minimum requirements for the admissions office to render a
decision include submission of the online application, payment of
the application fee, submission of transcripts and an official GMAT
score from ETS. However, throughout most of the admission cycle the
applicant will also need to submit a resume, three (3) essays, and
two (2) letters of recommendation in order to be competitive with
other applicants. We will review applications in which all documents
are submitted prior to reviewing those applications in which one or
more pieces were not included.
In addition, international students will need to submit an official
TOEFL score from ETS. If admitted, the certificate of Financial
Responsibility form must be submitted to the International office;
this can also be submitted at the time of application to simplify
the process.
