Visiting the Full-time MBA Program

We encourage prospective students to visit the UT Campus before they apply to the Texas MBA Program. The McCombs Admissions Committee (MAC) requests that you make appointments before you come to explore the program. Please notify us at least one week in advance to ensure we can meet your request.

Fall 2008 Campus Visit Options:

Class Visits (1 hr each)
Attend an MBA class with a current student.

Lunches (1 hr each)
Go to lunch with a current MBA student

Texas MBA Day (4 hours)
Participants will have the opportunity to interact with 1st and 2nd year MBA students, meet members of the faculty, administration and career services and learn more about student led MBA activities.

Women's Weekend: October 16-18*
Opportunity to interact with current students, faculty, and staff while experiencing what the Texas MBA program and the city of Austin have to offer. More details to come.

Explore McCombs Diversity Weekend: November 20-22*
Texas MBA Diversity Weekend providing an opportunity for qualified applicants to learn more about the benefits of an MBA from the University of Texas, the strengths of the McCombs program, and how business school will ultimately affect their ability to become exceptional business leaders. While Explore McCombs is open to everyone, African American, Hispanic American, and Native American applicants are especially encouraged to attend.

McCombs School of Business Location: We are located in the Graduate School of Business on the corner of 21st and Speedway, CBA 2.316. Parking is located on surface streets around the campus and in Brazos Garage, located half a block East of MLK and Speedway. Parking is subject to availability.


University of Texas at Austin Tours: Maps of the main UT campus and some of the outlying areas of campus, including shuttle bus routes and schedules, can be found at http://www.utexas.edu/tours/.

The University's Admission Office conducts walking tours of the campus that begin at the UT tower.
