Texas MBA - Explore McCombs Diversity Weekend 

The McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin is committed to providing a diverse, well balanced, real-world business education. Through the Explore McCombs event, qualified students will be given the opportunity to connect with members of the McCombs community, including current students, alumni, faculty, staff and other applicants, as they learn the vital skills essential to navigating the MBA application process.

The 8th Annual Explore McCombs weekend will be held November 12-14, 2009. Activities include: MBA information sessions, business school tours, class visits, faculty panels, workshops, a case discussion, MBA student and alumni panels, informal socials and other networking opportunities.

Due to space constraints, participation at Explore McCombs is by application only. Application is now closed. African American, Hispanic American and Native American prospective students are strongly encouraged to apply for this event, but the event is open to include all prospective students, of any race or ethnicity, with an interest in improving the representation of minorities in business schools and in management.
