The original Bent's Fort, built in 1833 along the Arkansas River, was a successful fur trading post, semi-military establishment, and welcome haven for weary mountain men traveling along the Santa Fe Trail. A full-sized adobe replica was built in 1962 in Morrison by Sam'l Arnold, with a bird’s-eye view of Denver and a world-wide reputation for Rocky Mountain indigenous food and culinary excellence. The Denver Business Series is pleased to host the 2008 Summer Social at this historic and memorable location.
Please join us on Wednesday, July 16 beginning at 6:00 pm for cocktails and heavy appetizers, sampling some of the Fort's finest offerings. The evening will provide an indoor and outdoor experience where you can walk the grounds and enjoy the spectacular Denver night skyline, sit by a campfire, or enjoy the company of friends and colleagues in the comfort of the restaurant. Friends and family are warmly welcome. Don't miss this year's event!
The cost is $30 through July 9, and $35 after. Free parking. To register, please go to http://www.dbseries.com/ or contact Norie Baker at norie@themeetingedge.comor 303-457-2119.
