Faculty
When Texas MBAs describe their favorite aspects of the school, they often cite the quality and accessibility of the faculty. They are a dynamic, interactive group of knowledge leaders who rank eighth nationally in terms of research impact. Yes, UT Austin is a research university, but that doesn't mean that teaching comes second.
Because successful researchers know more about their fields than anyone else, they tend to be the best synthesizers of knowledge of students, and that means new knowledge reaches Texas MBAs more quickly than most business students. This strength is evident in every discipline. The faculty will challenge you to consider the business core from new perspectives, and you will benefit from your access to the first-hand knowledge they are able to share.

What they say
The faculty is made up of foremost authorities in their fields, respected not only in the academic community, but also in the business world. And in spite of the lofy statures, the professors are incredibly accessible and involved. I am continuously amazed at the level of personal interest that professors take in my progress and that of my classmates.Adama Weinroth, MBA 03
