The University of Texas at Austin
Though prominent in its own right, the McCombs School benefits further from its association with the University of Texas at Austin, the largest single-campus university in the nation. For more than 120 years, UT Austin has been the educational powerhouse of the Southwest. The campus is comprised of 16 schools and colleges that rank largely among the top 20 in the country. The University annually awards more doctoral degrees than any other U.S. institution. Internationally distinguished graduate programs include the McCombs School of Business, the College of Engineering, the School of Law, the LBJ School of Public Affairs, the College of Communication, the School of Architecture, the School of Information Studies, and the Institute of Latin American Studies.

Libraries
UT Austin provides the fifth-largest academic library system in the United States (including 20 libraries) and ranks among the great libraries of the world. It houses over 7.5 million volumes, 5 million microforms, 30 million pages of manuscripts, and online access to hundreds of databases and other electronic resources. The main graduate library, the Perry-CastaƱeda Library, is located directly across the street from the McCombs School of Business.
The Harry Ransom Center
The University is also home to the Harry Ransom Center, considered to be one of the world's most pretigious rare book and manuscript libraries, with more than 36 million manuscripts, one million rare books, five million photographs, and 100,000 works of art and design, including the Gutenberg Bible (c. 1450) and the world's first photograph (c. 1826).
The Blanton Museum
The Blanton Museum's permanent collection includes one of the largest and most significant collections of 20th Century Latin American art in the U.S.
