Inbound Double Degree: How To Apply
Applicants must complete the Double Degree application process at their home institution and be nominated to McCombs. Applicants should then complete the McCombs Application Checklist.

Texas Common Application
All Double Degree Applicants must complete the Texas Common
Application.
- Major: Select McCombs School of Business MBA Double Degree.
- Essay: There are no editing functions within the on-line application. It is recommended that you write your essays in Word or a similar program then copy & paste the text into the Texas Common Application.
GMAT & TOEFL scores
Official GMAT & TOEFL scores must be sent to UT-Austin directly from
the testing service. UT-Austin GMAT code: 396-44-45; UT-Austin’s
TOEFL code: 6882
Supporting Documents
Please mail the following items together in one packet:
- Recommendation Letter from the Dean or Double Degree Coordinator of your MBA Program.
- A current Resume or Curriculum Vitae. Suggested two page maximum length.
- Official Transcripts from each college/university attended (undergraduate & graduate). Transcripts are academic records showing grades from all classes undertaken. All transcripts must be official, original documents. Foreign transcripts must be submitted in their original language along with an English translation. Proof of degrees received is also required. Transcripts from community colleges, professional development programs, certificate programs, language programs and workshops are NOT required.
- GMAT & TOEFL scores. Applicants may submit copies of their GMAT and TOEFL scores with their supporting documents. However, official scores must also be sent to UT-Austin directly from the testing service.
- Copy of U.S. Permanent Resident Green Card. (If applicable).
- Certificate of Financial Responsibility
This form can be submitted separately after acceptance if necessary, but immigration documents will not be processed until this document is received.
Supporting documents should be submitted to the Texas MBA International Exchange Coordinator.
Track Application Status. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all required credentials are received. Applications will not be considered until all documentation is received.
