Texas MBA Orientation gives you a head start on classes, introduces you to the culture at the McCombs School of Business and is, without a doubt, the best opportunity for you to meet fellow classmates. Because those areas will be so essential to your overall success during your next two years at McCombs, MBA Orientation is required for all students entering the program in the fall semester.
So, get ready to get active! With team building, experiential learning, interactive sessions, meetings with core faculty, academic and career advisors, nationally recognized speakers and lots of fun events, it’s the perfect way to start off your Texas MBA experience. There will also be many optional sessions integrated throughout Orientation.
About the McCombs Adventure Program (MAP) - August 1-9 (optional):
Connect with future classmates, discover exciting new places and begin the McCombs experience before ever setting foot on campus at the McCombs Adventure Program (MAP). Tour Argentina, Ireland, Nicaragua or even just day trip around Austin with your future friends from the class of 2010! The 7 to 9 day trips will begin the weekend of August 1, 2008. About MBA Boot Camps:
Boot Camps are designed to refresh your memory and bring you up to speed on some of the basic tools needed throughout your time at McCombs. Past Boot Camps have been offered for Accounting, Finance, Case Discussion and Excel for Statistics. Contrary to their name, the Boot Camps are taught in a fun, engaging atmosphere. They are a great way to prepare yourself for your return to the classroom.
