Many classes stay connected and attend events together after graduation. The Class of 2002 met in Dallas for the Texas/OU game this past year.

The McCombs MBA Alumni Network (MMA Network), the alumni organization for the Graduate School of Business, was established in the fall of 1996 by students and alumni of the MBA program. MMA Network and the Alumni Advisory Board have been the force behind many initiatives on behalf of the alumni and the MBA program, including our community-wide networking database, business@texas--our MBA alumni magazine, the optional interview program, strategy conferences to aid new school programs, networking events and chapters in 25 cities around the world.

The McCombs MBA Alumni Network seeks to:

• Provide Reach: Promote McCombs as a leading business program by providing a venue for connecting, knowledge sharing, and business advancement on a global basis.

• Deliver Value: Deliver value to students, alumni, the MBA program, the McCombs School and the business community.

• Foster Loyalty: Create and foster a tradition of lifelong McCombs MBA Community

• Encourage Exchange: Create a constructive and strategic channel of communication between alumni and the school that fosters business exchange and program development.

Opportunities to Engage
The MMA Network believes that you become a lifelong member of the McCombs MBA community the day you step on campus. Our alumni play many key roles throughout this community, and as they’ll attest, participation in this community has its benefits. We offer a wide array of opportunities and new initiatives that keep you connected to the school and your colleagues. For information on getting involved, check out:

Classes of '78, '93, '98 enjoyed Reunion 2003 weekend, which offered the alumni a chance to revisit Austin hotspots, connect with good friends, and hear the latest information about the program.

In an effort to keep alumni involved in the latest developments of the Business school, Dean Gau talks about strategic initiatives to a group of alums in the Carpenter Lounge.
Every January, our local alumni chapters host Winter Receptions for alumni and current students. It's a great opportunity for students to meet our alumni in various cities across the world.
